Letter to Laurier

In 1916, Joseph Atkinson wrote a letter to Sir Wilfrid Laurier, then leader of the Liberal party. In this letter he outlined many measures that he wished Laurier to adopt and become centerpieces of the Liberal party platform. Amazingly, many of these policies are in place today and are cherished Canadian values. Click here to read this historical letter.
