The Ontario Nonprofit Network, Canadian Women’s Foundation, and the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives released a policy brief on the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on women workers why the federal government should invest in universal child care and modernize employment insurance. The brief was submitted to the federal government, ahead of the throne speech on September 23, 2020.
