In a world of multiple considerations, Atkinson believes people come first.

We put racialized workers who have the lowest incomes at the centre of our philanthropy. We want to help make the places where they live, work, and find community healthier by every measure. 

We support organizations and networks that are amplifying workers’ voices. They’re building movements strong enough to change the headlines — from stories about the problem of poverty and  an unjust society to the solution of decent work and a fair economy.

Our contribution takes many different forms: funding, investments, advocacy, research, convening, and more.
