This memorandum was sent to the Ministry of Finance, the Prime Minister’s Office, and the Privy Council Office on Friday October 16th, 2020.
It highlights a five year approach for new federal funding in order to expand access to affordable, high-quality care. This approach aims to improve two main areas: the capacity and compensation of existing and future child care workers; and space in high-quality, publicly-managed care.
