Migrant workers have always done essential work in Canada. But for too long, their work has been indecent and their rights have been trampled on because of their immigration status. That’s why they have mobilized for permanent residency status for all migrants, on arrival.

Now, it looks like a historic regularization program is on the horizon with the federal government.

To make sure no one is left behind in this opportunity, they are organizing through the Migrant Workers Alliance for Change, Migrant Rights Network, and Workers Action Centre. Here are some actions we can all take:

• Sign their petition for status for all.
• Attend a rally and march in Toronto at Christie Pits Park on Sunday September 18, 2022 at 2pm.
