Atkinson’s core value of accompaniment inspires how we make grants. We walk alongside grantees, rather than leading from out front or pushing from behind, as a first step in rebalancing inequitable power dynamics.

Grants, donations, bursaries and sponsorships awarded since 2014 can be found in our comprehensive database.

120 charitable organizations received grants totalling $25,901,568 during the period of 2014 to 2024. We’ve made long-term financial commitments to 21 Ontario-based movement builders. That’s why we  don’t have an open call for proposals every year.
