Danyaal Raza is a community family physician and holds a Masters of Public Health from Harvard University with a focus on social determinants of health. Dan is a clinician-leader with St. Michael’s Hospital, Unity Health Toronto and is an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto’s Department of Family and Community Medicine. He joined the department in 2015 and is now the Faculty Lead in Social Accountability.
Dan is a past chair of Canadian Doctors for Medicare and was the founding physician lead of St. Michael’s Sumac Creek Health Centre in Toronto’s Regent Park. He is an active member of the Decent Work & Health Network and is a Broadbent Institute Public Policy Fellow.
