Wendy Chan is the Associate Director, Program Impact at the Children’s Aid Foundation of Canada, a leading charity dedicated to improving the lives of children and youth involved with the child welfare system. Wendy leads a team responsible for CAFC’s initiatives aimed at improving outcomes for youth transitioning out of care, including employment and post-secondary education supports. She holds a Master of Arts degree from York University and has worked in the not-for-profit sector for over 20 years, with a focus on research and programs promoting children’s rights. Joseph E. Atkinson was Wendy’s great-great-grandfather.
