Catherine Wang comes to Atkinson from the University of Toronto’s Urban Policy Lab as a Graduate Student Fellow. Catherine holds an Honours degree in International Development Studies from McGill University and is currently pursuing her Master of Public Policy at the Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy. She is currently working as a consultant at Beam Group, where she supports municipalities and organizations on service delivery reforms, workforce planning, and equity-focused strategy.

Previously, Catherine interned at the United Nations in Vienna, where she contributed to Canada’s multilateral policy engagement across the IAEA, UNODC, and CTBTO. She is passionate about labour policy, organizational change, and advancing equitable approaches to public service delivery. Catherine’s supervisor is Atkinson’s Executive Officer for Advocacy and Engagement, Selena Zhang.
